Prof. Cass Sunstein: Nudge—Past, Present, Future

In his talk, Professor Sunstein will illustrate how behavioral economics can inform policymakers on how to improve and simplify policy by challenging conventional economic assumptions. The talk will build upon his critically acclaimed books Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health Wealth, and Happiness, Simpler, and Why Nudge? The Politics of Libertarian Paternalism.

Professor Sunstein was the Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) during the Obama administration's first term and is now heading the Program on Behavioral Economics and Public Policy at Harvard Law School.

This event is open to the public. Sponsored by the Harvard University Effective Altruism Student Group (HUEA) and The Future Society (TFS).
