Pitch Your PhD: Research at the Intersection of Effectiveness and Altruism

Find out what it's like to pursue a path of changing the world through academia and get a chance to meet people who are doing it.

Young scholars from various departments and graduate schools at Harvard will pitch their research on the intersection of effectiveness and altruism. 

Topics include:
- How to make people behave more altruistically
- What programs are most cost-effective
- Theories that allow us to say what works and what doesn’t

The event will start with short presentations from the speakers, followed by break-out sessions according to interest area. This event is open to the public.
